#5. Desta French – Take You For Dead
Came across Desta French after forgetting to turn off Soundcloud one night, and this happened to be the song playing when I came back to my laptop later in the evening. A good surprise is the best surprise.
#4. Roy Wood$ – All Of You (Michah Remix)

I love the grittiness that Michah adds to this Roy Wood$ track. I mean, he already sounds gritty in the original, but there’s just some anger that comes out in this song and it’s fantastic. Not only that, but it’s got a catchy dance swagger to it. When that bad mood strikes, but you still need to bust a move… well… this is for you then.
#3. Shura – White Light
Clocking in at over 7 minutes, White Light is longer than the average song that my attention span seems to be able to handle. But Shura managed to make this 7 minutes almost feel too short. I don’t think I even realized how long the song was until the 8th or 9th listen. A gentle sound, it’s the perfect follow up to calm you down after your angry dancing from Michah’s remix.
#2. Years and Years – Shine
I am slowwwwwww to the party on this one. Well, technically the album isn’t even out yet so I guess I’m not THAT slow, but I’m sure this has been floating around the internets for a good few weeks now. Shine has major hit written all over it with it’s radio-ready chorus… plus it’s frustratingly catchy.
#1. Cheat Codes – Visions (Boehm Remix)

Most weeks it’s a challenge deciding between 2 or 3 songs for my favourite. Not this week. I’m addicted to this remix of Visions by Boehm. The tropical beat and sing-a-long chorus are too much for me. Just listen and smile (which is a bit ironic, since the song seems to be about a breakup and yet the remix has made it sound so painfully happy).
