#5. LAUV – Reforget
Soundcloud made some silly changes over the last week that resulted in EVERY SINGLE Soundcloud link on my blog turning into a mini-player… which absolutely destroyed the loading time. Notttttttt cool Soundcloud, not cool. What IS cool though? LAUV’s new infectious pop-song Reforget. Easy-listening at it’s finest.
#4. Nick Brewer Feat. Bibi Bourelly – Talk To Me
Switching gears from the borderline bubble-gum pop of LAUV is a song that I don’t really know how to categorize. It’s part hip hop, part dance, part pop I guess? Well, whatever it is… I’m loving the feel good vibes . Also digging the stark contrast between Nick’s verses and the bumping vocals of Bibi’s chorus.
#3. WizKid – Ojuelegba (Remix Feat. Drake & SKEPTA)

I swear it took me like 10 tries to spell this song correctly. My brain tells me I don’t like it, but I yet I play it non-stop. I just can’t help it. Catchy, danceable and somewhat unusual – all things I absolutely love in songs. I’m also a sucker for pretty much anything Drake get’s involved in. He’s one of my many guilty pleasures.
#2. nvdes – Unforgettable
Invades? Is that what we’re assuming this mysterious band is named? I can’t even find a picture of them, let alone figure out how to pronounce their name. Regardless, if this doesn’t have you doing the solo-sideways shuffle then I’d say you are a lost cause. With only two songs to their name to date (both released in the last month), here’s to hoping there’s more goodness coming our way in the future.
#1. GIRL FRIEND – Poison

Seems that every song this week is painfully catchy. GIRL FRIEND’s second release in the past 30 days is another fantastic offering. It’s dripping with all the same vibes that their last jam had (Arrive Alone Leave Alone), which I’m still obsessed with today. They are quickly shooting up my list of “must see” bands and have set my expectations for their next release astronomically high.
