#5. Luke Million – Fear the Night (Faul & Wad Ad Remix)

Faul & Wad Ad do a great job of capitalizing on some great, catchy lyrics by Luke Million to create a easy-listening electro track.
#4. Gil the Kid – Talking To Myself
Gil the Kid’s second release gives me some major Andrew Bird vibes. Simple, catchy indie pop that is driven by a great hook.
#3. MNEK – Wrote A Song About You (TIEKS Remix)

Time to get hipster. Back before Soundcloud was a big deal I remember obessively checking the MySpace of a then 14-year old kid from Britain. He had these incredibly catchy RnB/pop songs and a voice that really made an impact on the listener. That kid was MNEK. Fast forward a few years and we now have a fantastic remix by TIEKS to one of MNEK’s most popular tracks that adds some great pace and panic to the song.
#2. Flume Feat. George Maple – That Look

I’m cheating. But it’s Flume, and he’s one of the artists I’ll cheat for. Apparently this track was leaked wayyyy back, but then disappeared. It resurfaced this past week in the blogosphere and I’m in love. Problem is that the only link to actually hear it seems to be HypeM right now (which will pull from a few blogs that still have active links to the song somehow). If I could find a soundcloud link to this badboy it’d be #1 (or at least making me re-think my #1 choice), but I can’t give top spot to a song that I can’t even properly link to. However, it’s a gorgeous track that features one of the hottest artists right now in George Maple.
#1. Remy Banks Feat. A$AP Twelvy – q44.
This is smooth. I’d heard the name Remy Banks before, but I cannot say I’d invested any energy into giving his stuff some listens. Well, consider my calendar booked up next week. q44 is fantastically chill and features A$AP Twelvy who matches up great with Remy. I have a definite preference in the type of hip hop I like, and this track is the perfect example of what that type is.
