#5. Tom Grennan – Something In The Water

A lovely, folksy and yet somehow grimy Tom Grennan track starts us off this week. Full of raw emotion and some real ear-pleasing guitar, Something In The Water this is quite a debut track for any artist.
#4. Amber-Simone – Throwing Arrows

Seeing as this was my first introduction to Amber-Simone’s soundcloud, I had a real hard time picking just one track to share. There are 3 to 4 up there that I’m finding myself playing on repeat right now. Known to me mostly for his features on some Joe Hertz tracks, I’m not really sure why it never occurred to me to see if there was any solo material up. Getting a little bit of early-Weeknd vibes here.
#3. Dorsal Fins -Heart On The Floor

It was the newly released Sedated that introduced me to Dorsal Fins, but Heart On The Floor is what kept my attention. A fun, pop track with a bit of 80s flair to it.
#2. Talos – Reborn

I distinctly remember not feeling too great about the new Talos track, Reborn. Yet, I kept hearing it everywhere (on playlists, on blogs, on hype, on spotify). It wouldn’t leave me alone. Eventually, it won me over. The calmness of the verses and the panic of the chorus’ are both captivating and catchy.
#1. Blajk – Lethal
#’s 2-5 this week were interchangeable and very much debated right up til the end for me. However, there was never any question about which song would take top spot. I am addicted to Lethal and it’s unfairly catchy guitar riff’s. Those little plucks are subtle yet brilliant, and the lyrics are catchy as can be. I have plans to get back to updating my top 10 list, and there’s no doubt in my mind this track will be on it.
