#5. Brain Tan – Comfort Object
Half shoegaze, half surf pop. Brain tan’s entire recent EP is a chilled-out adventure and ridiculously good.
#4. Twin Shadow – When You’re Wrong
A veteran of the blog, Twin Shadow returns with another dramatic track. While he’s got a signature sound, each track still comes across sounding unique as hell.
#3. Jay Summer – Look The Part
Came across Jay Summer a few weeks ago and loved a bunch of tracks, but somehow they never seem to stick in my mind enough to crack the weekly top 5. Not that they aren’t great (cause they are), but for whatever reason it’s not sticky. It’s just solid soft rock pop.
#2. James Gillespie – Dead In The Water

Been a while since I featured James Gillespie. Loving the grumbling, husky new track Dead In The Water.
#1. Studio_Dad Feat. Fat Tony & Wade08 – Too Turnt
There was no way this wasn’t making top spot. Even if it’s going to grow tiresome fast, something about the name “Studio Dad” and the track titled “Too Turnt” requires some airtime. And honestly, it’s got some legit catch to it.
