#5. The 1975 – I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)
Still bumping the latest 1975 album. I Wanna Die (Sometimes) is one of the most nostalgic-sounding songs I’ve heard in a long time that transports me directly back into the cringey-emo years of high school. Good times.
#4. L D R U Feat. Mammals – Can’t Drive
L D R U has shot up to the top of my “must see” list for shows in 2019 on this track alone. The distortion of that chorus would just melt the insides live.
#3. Cassius Feat. Ryan Tedder – Hey You!

I’m cheating here. I had this song saved from when the album was released way back in the summer of 2016… but for whatever reason it never really caught on… that is, until it randomly showed up through my Spotfiy shuffle and had me checking on what track was playing. It’s now getting into the heavy rotation it so rightly deserves.
#2. Teflon Sega – Oh Yeah
Teflon Sega is becoming a weekly feature here. Dude just makes some amazing music that really doesn’t sound like anything else out there.
#1. Jax Jones Feat. Years & Years – Play
Anything featuring Years & Years is good in my books. They catchy, layered vocals of the chorus make it even better.
