I am inferring that Two Another are the remixers of this here track, but it’s not totally clear from soundcloud. Nevertheless, the original features Portgul. The Man, so i think it’s a fair guess. Both are great (songs and bands), but the remix brings about a bit more glam that’ll get you grooving.
This could just be recency bias, but this reminds me so much of the Roses remix that has dominated the airwaves in the last year or so. Could be the pulsating synths that R3hab added to an already pulsing track… but hey I’m not complaining.
Not only does Josh Fudge look like a candidate for the nicest, most pleasant human on earth, but his music resonates the same happy-go-lucky vibes of a pleasant fall day, strolling through a beautiful park just as the sun sets with not a care in the world.
So after causing confusion and name changing from stage name Chet Faker to what I assume was his real name (Nick Murphy), we’re back to Chet Faker (despite the soundcloud above showing it as Nick Murphy, this track was released on Spotify and into the world under the Chet Faker moniker). Regardless of the name, this is definitely a track that has me reminiscing about the Gold and No Diggity days of early Nick Murphy/Chet Faker magic.
While a version featuring Blackbear just came out, gotta say I love the original more. I am so into this dude’s sound. Can’t wait to see what he releases next. FWIW, I’ve been listening a lot more to the Brakence track I featured last week (Sauceintherough), and frankly would re-rank it as the top track last week if I was to write that post today.
