Songs of the Week 341: October 31 – November 6

#5. Bbno$ Feat. Rebecca Black – Yoga

One of the hottest new hip hop-pop acts on the scene, especially with the young folks. Gotta admit, there’s some feel good, catchy vibes on this cut.

#4. Bay Ledges – Not Now Maybe Never

More glitchy goodness from Bay Ledges. One of my favorite acts around at the moment.

#3. Darius Feat. Benny Sings – Rise

A couple tracks this week are getting docked some points for just being a tad too long for what I can normally keep an attention span for. Digging this chill, poolside hang track… tho it does start to wear on me around the 3.30-4min mark.

#2. Purple Disco Machine Feat. Elderbrook – I Remember

6min. That’s long. I suspect there’ll be a radio-edit cut coming (which are always my faves). That said it’s such a groovy track, and I love Elderbrook’s vocals.

#1. Fryars Feat. Rae Morris – Moscow

Really torn on this one. I find the verses kinda neat, but also kinda cringey at points. Like, I dig the message being shared, but it just doesn’t totally flow. That said, the chorus is brilliant… and I can see it totally crushing at a live, festival like atmosphere.
