Songs of the Week 387: January 15 – January 21

#5. Sza – Love Language

Sza used to be one of my faves in the hip hop & rnb game. Digging the recent album SOS.

#4. Brain Tan – Can It Wait

Not sure I’ve ever spelled Brain Tan correctly on the first time. Love his stuff though. Chill, dreamy soundscapes.

#3. Aldae – Too Far

I’ve recently been on an (unintended) binge of sub-2 min run time tracks. Aldae’s Too Far is the best of the bunch.

#2. Lucky Daye – Ego

This would be so so much higher on my list of favorite tracks if it had just ended at around 3:30min, instead of the experimental-sounding outro.

#1. Caius – Different Love

Feels like every Caius release I feature is a top track. Funky and fun – you know it’s gonna be a good week when something new from Caius is dropped.

Songs of the Week 386: January 8 – January 14

#5. Pnau feat. Troye Sivan – You Know What I Need

Been a while since last post with the holiday break, but we back with a banger of a week. Heading it is the combined brilliance of PNAU & Troye Sivan.

#4. Wake The Wild – Need Your Love

Wake The Wild produce nothing but hits in my ears. Much like how I felt about early Aquilo, each new track these guys release I know will be amazing.

#3. The Kith – Can’t Get Enough

Every good week of tracks needs a dance tune.

#2. Aldae – Far From Texas

Major Justin Bieber mixed with Drake vibes here. It works. Don’t @ me.

#1. Teenage Dads – Hey, Diego!

An early contender for song the the year appears! What a goddamn chorus. These dudes sound like the kind of guys I’d like to be friends with.
