#5. Raine – My Dreams
A lovely melody carries My Dreams to the 5 spot this week. Can’t say I know much about Raine, but with just three tracks to her name (on Soundcloud anyway), all released in the past 2.5 months… I expect we’ll be hearing from her again soon.
#4. MOONzz & Melvv – Goodbye

Another MOONZz track because, well… why not? Her recent EP release was amazing. Here she combines with Melvv for some more electronica goodness.
#3. Kehlani – Gangsta (Vincent Remix)

Remix, Flip, whatever.. it’s all the same thing to me. I already adore Kehlani, and Vincent turns her lucious Gangsta into a banger dubstep track that is made for the club. Also loving the warped vocals.
#2. Meadowlark – Headlights
This one is all chorus. I’ve had it spinning in my head ever since it first graced my ears, and I find myself constantly humming “oh my oh my god” without even thinking about it. Never underestimate the power of a catchy chorus.
#1. Frank Ocean (Feat. Beyonce) – Pink + White
Up until a few days ago there was a Youtube link for this one (obviously fan-uploaded illegally), and I’m super bummed out that it got taken down. The video chosen to accompany what is EASILY my favorite track from Frank Ocean’s latest was an anime clip (I cannot remember the show), and well… it just went perfectly with the song. I don’t watch anime, but now I can’t listen to this song without picturing this clip from the video. So sad that I can’t share it. Regardless, beautiful track.
#5. The Strike – Eye For An Eye
Some sassy pop starts us off this week with The Strike’s nostalgia-inducing Eye For An Eye.
#4. Bright Light Bright Light Feat. Elton John – Symmetry of Two Hearts (Loframes Remix)
soundcloud.com/brightlightx2 // soundcloud.com/loframes
If I had to guess, Loframes is leading the race for most-featured remixer (on my blog). His rework of Bright Light Bright Light’s Symmetry of Two Hearts adds some pleasant bounce and gives this radio-friendly track even more pop.
#3. Gemini – The Turnaround
It has been ages since I’ve checked in on melodic dubstep master Gemini. Luckily for me, I checked in at a good time. The Turnaround is a genre-bending track with some catchy vocal play and a nice ominous feel. Despite the slight deviation from his heavier hitting stuff, you can still really hear the “Gemini Sound” come through in this track.
#2. Young Summer – Fallout
I was really torn whether to make this track #1 or #2 this week, so consider it a 1A/1B kind of deal. I absolutely adore everything about this. The chorus, verse, atmosphere, lyrics… all of it. Gorgeous.
#1. Goldhouse Feat. Alexx Mack – Pleasure
If you didn’t want to dance before reading this week’s tracks, well… prepare your feet because if this track doesn’t get you dancing you are dead to me. And don’t even get me started on the hook right before the chorus. That shit has been stuck in my head all week (and it’s been goddamn glorious).
