Songs of the Week 347: December 12 – December 18

#5. Jay Glavany – Good Things

https://soundcloud.com/jayglavany1

Pretty sure we got a good few more weeks of Jay tracks coming. A real solid discography from the dude.

#4. Martin Garrix Feat. Matisse & Sadka & John Martin- Won’t Let You Go

https://soundcloud.com/martingarrix

Feels like it’s been ages since we had a good anthemic banger to share. While this style of music might have faded over the past couple years, I still can’t but help fall for the catchy, predictable sounds of someone like Arty or Martin Garrix.

#3. Tory Lanez – Enchanted Waterfall

https://soundcloud.com/torylanez

Not in the news for the right reasons… so I almost felt like skipping this share. But ugh. I do very much vibe with this one. That chorus catchy AF.

#2. Lemaitre Feat. Anna Of The North – What About U

https://soundcloud.com/serious-url

This is such a wholesome, heartwarming song.

#1. Breathe. – It’s Not The End

https://soundcloud.com/breathe-team

Much like Baird from last week – if breathe. drops it, I’ll probably share it. I adore their sound, their style and basically everything about their music. Only gripe I got is that their catalogue is only six songs deep. I NEEEEED more.

Songs of the Week 212: April 21 – April 27

claudia bouvette#5. Claudia Bouvette – Cool It

soundcloud.com/claudia-bouvette

Different-sounding songs – I dig em. Newcomer Claudia Bouvette delivers in spades.

wtr#4. wtr – I Think I Love It

soundcloud.com/wwttrr/

Such a great use of a now-famous sample (taken from Noah Slee +  Shiloh Dynasty in DGAF… now if they sampled it from somewhere then that’s too far down the sample train for me to ride).

ofenbach#3. Ofenbach Feat. Portugal. The Man – We Can Hide Out

soundcloud.com/weareofenbach

I love Ofenbach. I love Portgual. The Man. Together… well it’s nice times indeed.

martin garrix#2. Martin Garrix Feat. Macklemore & Patrick Stump – Summer Days

soundcloud.com/martingarrix

I knew the second I saw this lineup that we’d already have our anthem for summer. It’s almost too easy that I don’t want to like it… but goddamn is it ever catchy. Also who doesn’t get at least a little nostalgic anytime Patrick Stump starts belting one out.

kyan#1. Kyan – Like Summer (Colors Version)

soundcloud.com/kyanmusic

I’ve featured this before… but it wasn’t until last week that I discovered the Colors version and it’s well worth a repost. This track is both brilliant and gorgeous. It’s easily moved it’s way into my top 10 songs of the past couple years.
